ACOWAR cover revealed

The cover for A Court of War and Roses (ACOWAR) was released today, and contains a great nod to one of the fandoms best artists.

First off, here are the covers, by artist Adrian Dadich:

If you follow the work of Charlie Bowater, then you may recognize the dress Feyre is wearing. Sarah J Maas and Bloomsbury apparently asked if they could use it! Check out the original fanart with the dress designed by Charlie:

Charlie is also contributing to the ACOTAR colouring book (and her beautiful fanart is also the reason I read the books in the first place!). No word yet on when that will be out, but the release date for ACOWAR is May 2!

New ACOTAR book title announced!

Sarah J Maas announced the title of the third ACOTAR book yesterday. It's A Court of Wings and Ruin, aka ACOWAR!

She also released a few details in her newsletter today:

  • It's long. Between the length of ACOMAF and EOS.

  • Some other Courts of Prythian will be featured

  • New characters!

Here's a synopsis:
Looming war threatens all Feyre holds dear in the third volume of the #1 New York Times best selling A Court of Thorns and Roses series.

Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's maneuverings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit-and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.

As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords-and hunt for allies in unexpected places.

In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.

News: More info on new ACOTAR books

I'm a little late posting this, but wanted to share more info on the new ACOTAR books that Sarah J. Maas released in her newsletter.

There will be three more novels set in the ACOTAR world (sounds like another trilogy), but Sarah, "can’t tell you if they’re a continuation or spinoffs or prequels." She did say they would begin publishing in 2018.

The other two books will be novellas. No word on the contents of those yet or when they would be published.

Regardless, lots more ACOTAR reading to come!

News: Six new ACOTAR books to be released

It was announced today that there are going to be six new A Court of Thorns and Roses books! SIX! And here I thought we would only get the final book in the trilogy.

One of the six will be a colouring book out next year. It's unclear if the remainder of the six will be continuations of the series or separate books in the same world (the two new Throne of Glass books announced at the same time aren't to be a part of the original series, if that gives any clues at all).
